What you'll do here:

  • Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
  • Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
  • Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
  • Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
  • Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
  • Other duties as needed.

Skills you will need here:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching, and education sales preferably in the publishing industry.
  • Proven record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement performance.
  • Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
  • Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
  • Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective working relationship with current and prospective customers, internal business partners, colleagues, and management.
  • Documented territory management and organizational skills.
  • Strong competency in the use of business technologies, multiple applications, CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to transport materials to customer locations is essential to this role, therefore must be able to lift 50 lbs unaided.

Preferred

  • Sales experience with exceptional knowledge of digital information delivery, education, or the informational technology industry.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
