We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of all aspects of non-functional testing, including performance, security, failover, and disaster recovery. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, resilience, and regulatory compliance of our fintech solutions.
Responsibilities:
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Actively participate in defining non-functional requirements related to performance and security.
- Develop and implement strategies and frameworks for non-functional testing (performance, security, failover, disaster recovery).
- Plan and execute performance testing (load, stress, scalability) to ensure system reliability and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to perform security testing and address identified vulnerabilities.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with analysts, QA engineers, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure a seamless and efficient testing process.
- Partner with vendors, business analysts, and IT stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues.
Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of experience in load, stress, endurance, scalability and other types of non-functional testing.
- Non-Functional Requirements Expertise; Experience in gathering information, defining non-functional requirements, and testing of performance, stress, and scalability testing needs; ability to analyze system limitations and ensure alignment with business and technical expectations.
- Automation background; Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, including test planning, test execution, and defect management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum, and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to use and manipulate DBs.
- Knowledge of banking operations and processes is a plus.
Working Hours and Terms
Working Hours:
from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. accordingly.
Workdays: Monday to Friday (5 working days).
Hybrid Schedule: 52 remote days per year, equivalent to one remote workday per week.
