A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst support Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Technology Development & Advanced Concepts Division in Washington, DC. This position provides program analysis, special studies and other projects and activities associated with Trajectory Based Operations and flight information exchange including the integration of new entrants into the NAS.
Responsibilities:
- Perform research on specific new entrant issues and problem areas.
- Collect, assemble, organize, prepare, and present information as issue papers, special reports, briefing packages, and other documentation.
- Coordinate inter- and intra- office program management support activities and functions that include arranging and coordinating meetings with stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive document reviews to facilitate development of a TBO Gap Analysis.
- Thoroughly review, analyze, and understand various nature, sources, and formats of flight information.
- Identify and catalog the sources of flight information utilized within the FAA ATM ecosystem.
- Synthesize information from multiple sources to support creation of a Flight Information Catalog and Concept of Use.
- Support the development of strategies, concept documents, and processes for currently identified new entrants (such as commercial space) and future (i.e. urban air mobility).
Skills Required:
- Prior FAA work experience, particularly with TBO related programs or with FIXM and Flight Object projects.
- Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
- Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office applications and software.
Skills Preferred:
- Education in aviation science or related industry.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10-15 years of relevant experience.
Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.
