- Respond quickly to breaking news and last-minute changes with professionalism
and precision. - Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and station policies.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience directing newscasts in a professional broadcast environment.
- Proficiency with production automation systems (e.g., Ross OverDrive, Grass Valley Ignite, or similar).
- Strong understanding of studio and control room operations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work any assigned shift including days, nights, weekends, holidays; and extended hours.
