KETK-TV has an internship available for qualified students studying broadcast journalism, video production, and other communication degrees.
Area of interest could include News Producing, News Reporting, Digital News, Assignment Desk, Sports and Weather.
Internship Details:
Hours and schedule to be determined on a case-by-case basis
Shifts could include early mornings, days or nights
Will be well supervised by an appropriate news manager and participate in a meaningful learning experience
Requirements & Skills:
Must receive course credit for internship hours
Possess strong communication skills
Skilled in broadcast and AP style writing
Flexible in learning a variety of assignments and tasks
Intern duties could include but not limited to:
Transcribe interviews
Assist reporters, news and digital producers
Research stories for on-air and online
