Construction is considered as an important package to be delivered within the project in our Onshore Wind Power Business alongside with Logistic and BoP packages, thus a Package Management team is created within Construction Department to support Project Manager and project team to interface with other critical functions within the Department.
The role is to lead a group of Package Managers to support simplify the interface between Construction multiple functions especially on Material Management part which is crucial process from ordering until site receipt which multi-external stakeholders are involved.
A project and portfolio level view over the package is highly appreciated to be delivered from the role.

Business Responsibility 

  • To lead the team providing overview over the package in projects and generating managerial understanding and proposal if any from a portfolio level, supporting CNS head or Senior Management to understand critical topics within the scope 

  • As part of Construction, always provide top attention when it comes to EHS and Quality related topics, especially Retrofits released to site works, a coordination among stakeholders internal and externally on behalf of project manager is expected to cover Instructions, Materials and tooling. 

  • Strategical deploy the team according to regional business foot print 

 

Leadership: 

  • Leading by examples, provide inspirational leadership, understanding the impact of the role on others and adjusting approach accordingly. 

  • Set a clear target / deliverables for the team, supported by the necessary principal and critical thinkings, to galvanise the team in the delivery of the agreed objectives; lead, motivate and develop direct reports and the greater organization in APAC PM CNS, creating a positive, hardworking, results oriented, can do culture at every level.  

  • Develop a high performing team, through effective recruitment and by implementing a strong performance review and development focus. 

  • Equipped with principal and critical thinkings guiding the team to escalate on critical topics when required

  • Must be able to interpret construction site operation at essence in terms of people competence, tooling and materials and technical manuals / instructions 

  • Must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how to do technical management in a construction oriented organization  

      • Must be in Project or Service Managerial role within a construction project oriented company
