Why This Role Matters
As an NPI and Equipment Engineer, you'll play a key role in managing the NPI and Equipment processes in our İzmit plant. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in these processes in a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
Perform all aspects of new product industrialization activities for plant according to procedures.
Make detailed feasibility and impact studies for new projects, share findings with related teams to be an input for PFMEA and MRM studies.
Implement material specification changes and ensure all the specifications are up to date and ready for each required process.
Develop process and innovation solutions to improve robustness of tire.
Reduce complexity of components and tires by standardization approach in accordance with Goodyear requirements.
Take necessary actions for possible items seen on cut tire analysis and any issue faced on tires during production monitoring tests.
Develop and maintain equipment safety, quality, orders, and inventory checks.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or relevant engineering fields.
Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
Experience in tire industry background is an asset.
Good knowledge in MS Office is an asset.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Collaborative and team-oriented temperament.
