Job Description

Teledyne e2v Professional Imaging is an international leader in high performance, ultra-high resolution, and ultra-high speed image sensors and systems with approximately 220 employees globally. Acquired by Teledyne Technologies in 2017, Teledyne e2v Professional Imaging designs, develops, manufactures, and markets CMOS image sensors, modules, and imaging solutions for a variety of applications including machine vision and automation, medical and life sciences, logistics and robotics, and the environment, food and recycling. From 1D, 2D and 3D sensing to multi-spectral imaging, ultra-low noise, high sensitivity sensors rivalling EMCCDs, the range of our capabilities makes us a preferred innovation partner amongst our customers.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Industrialization Activities:

  • Follow up on the development plan for new product introductions, collaborating with the department director and other areas to deliver products on time, within cost, and with the required quality, based on the plan and specifications agreed upon with business team units.
  • Support the production department with the procedures needed for manufacturing during sampling and ramp-up phases.
  • Assist in the development of raw materials and the industrialization of test means.
  • Responsible for discussions with subcontractors regarding quality and planning issues during the industrialization phase.
  • Define and pilot JEDEC/AECQ100 qualifications to ensure the reliability of our products.
  • Proactively support the industrialization director to achieve on-time delivery against the manufacturing plan.
  • Implement and lead customer requests and RMA during industrialization phase.

Test Development Activities:

  • Implement and deploy fully functional wafer-level and package-level automatic tests for CMOS image sensors, following the test procedures agreed upon during the industrialization phase.
  • Ensure test procedures are strictly and efficiently adhered to, and that all documentation is fully completed and accurately supports test results.
  • Define and implement tests based on the product specification and desired test coverage.
  • Actively support test time reduction, bin definition, and yield studies based on continuous improvement principles.
  • Support external vendors with hardware and software test design, along with bring-up and site transfer.
  • Produce and review test specifications, providing feedback into design for future devices.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Telecommunication, Industrial Engineering (specializing in Robotics, Automation, or Electronics) or Electronical Engineering
  • Recent graduate. But experience in a related area is a plus.
  • Desirable experience with image manipulation and signal processing. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer classifications, and testing is a plus.
  • Relevant experience in electronic testing and validation; experience using laboratory equipment (power supplies, signal generator, SMU, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, thermal test equipment, GPIB, etc.).
  • Ability to obtain and present conclusions based on statistical data.
  • Ability to lead activities independently with minimal direction.
  • Familiarity with Matlab and Office (high level of Excel). Knowledge of Python and LabView/TestStand is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written) in a team environment; French language skills are an asset.
