Account Manager, New Business (Spain & Portugal)
The Job
We are looking for a results-driven Account Manager to join our vibrant sales team in Iberia. This role is crucial for our expansion, focusing on acquiring new customers within the Pharma/Lifescience, CPG (Consumer Product Good), Manufacturing and Pulp & Paper industries in Spain and Portugal. You'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, bringing new logos to the AVEVA family. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory and market segment.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Create and execute a strategic territory plan to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with new customers, establishing a foundation for future growth.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven track record in a B2B sales role, specifically focused on new business development ("hunting") in Pharma/Lifescience, CPG (Consumer Product Good), Manufacturing and Pulp & Paper industries.
  • Demonstrable experience in consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience selling software solutions or technology products to big and medium-sized enterprises.
  • Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English is required; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
  • Based in Spain or Portugal with the ability to travel to meet with prospective clients.
