OTIS, a global leader in the elevator industry, is expanding its team and is hiring several NEW EQUIPMENT PROJECT MANAGERS (F/M) in MORROCCO.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional responsible for managing and executing elevator installation projects from contract review to handover, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality delivery while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction and adhering to company policies and procedures.

This person can be based in Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, and/or Tangier.

On a typical day you will:

Contract Review & Project Planning

  • Review contracts, tender documents, and project specifications to understand scope, timelines, and commercial terms.

  • Identify risks, opportunities, clarifications, and mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives for project takeover and establish project plans, budgets, resource allocation, milestones, timelines, and KPIs.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Project Execution & Resource Management

  • Manage and coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and deliveries.

  • Schedule subcontractor activities and monitor project progress, quality, costs, and timelines.

  • Ensure effective utilization of project resources throughout execution.

Budget & Commercial Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets, expenses, billing terms, payment certificates, and cash flow.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation measures.

  • Manage Variation Orders (VOs), including documentation, approvals, pricing, and scheduling impacts.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Communicate project progress, timelines, and expectations.

  • Address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Identify opportunities for business conversion and growth.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning teams.

  • Provide technical guidance and support.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.

  • Identify and resolve issues, defects, and deviations.

  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, Otis safety requirements, and product compliance processes.

  • Conduct FPAs for employees and subcontractors.

  • Liaise with FOD regarding product quality issues.

Commissioning & Handover

  • Coordinate commissioning activities and ensure system functionality and performance.

  • Conduct customer training.

  • Manage handover to the Service Department and the customer, ensuring all findings are properly closed.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in project management or in a similar technical environment.

  • Experience managing contracts, project budgets, cash flow, billing processes, and commercial terms.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, labor resources, material deliveries, and project schedules.

  • Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, cost control, and KPI tracking.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, including installation, testing, and commissioning personnel.

  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management certification.

  • Experience in the elevator, escalator, building systems, construction, or industrial sectors.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

  • Experience working in customer-facing project environments.
