Job Description

This role is responsible for delivering agreed annual budgeted sales through self-motivation and strategic account development. This sales role will focus on all available products in the Radius portfolio and requires balance of individual Sales actions and achievements plus development of the business via agreed national working processes and procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for delivery of an agreed quarterly and annual budget in new business
  • Develop and actively ‘work’ a pipeline through the CRM platform
  • Select and develop strategic prospects and new accounts.
  • Provide excellent customer service standards to all Radius customers.
  • Manage nominated accounts and their associated Company and Group revenue streams
  • To prepare and implement customer specific SLAs and MI dashboards
  • Prepare sales reports, proposals in a factual, timely, consolidated and consistent manner to the Head of Sales
  • Ensuring information is presented in a beneficial, clear and positive manner.
  • To build and maintain excellent working relationships with branches and supporting functions to deliver SLA objectives and local relationship management
  • Receive sales leads and follow up to conclusion
  • Familiarise oneself with the entire range of products available through the business and sell according to the prospect or customer requirements.
  • Identify market trends and patterns and incorporate these in future business strategy
  • Develop industry awareness of the Group and its expertise in the vehicle acquisition market
  • Maintain awareness of trade and economic conditions and ensure appropriate actions are taken to mitigate potential risk and to maximise opportunities presented
  • Prepare and submit quotations and tender responses

Qualifications

  • A detailed understanding of vehicle solutions and the market space.
  • A good level of technical knowledge in relation to vehicle specification and our business specifics.
  • An ability to deliver presentations to prospects and clients.
  • An ability to identify and resolve issues. And to able to collate and analyse data - PC literate.
  • An ability to write well-articulated proposals and reports in response to clients’ needs.
  • An ability to negotiate and build strong relationships both internal and external.
  • An ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated, committed to meeting deadlines (self-imposed and external), and to manage multiple requirements and demands effectively.

  • Revenue and profit to agreed forecasts.
  • Accurate sales pipeline forecasts.
  • Management of the prospect data base and client folders.
  • Completion and maintenance of an effective ‘Fact Find’ document for each prospect.
  • Appointment and activity KPI.
  • Outstanding quote management KPIs.
  • Effective diary and time management.
