We are seeking a talented individual to join our Enterprise team at Marsh Commercial. This role will be based in either Cardiff or Exeter. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least four days per week in the office.
The role: New Business Client Advisor
Within your role as a New Business Client Advisor, you’ll primarily be responsible for bringing in new SME clients to the Enterprise part of the business. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for servicing a range of commercial insurance policies.

As a Client Advisor, once you have received initial training and support, you will be responsible for servicing a new business clients, and this can involve managing renewals, invoicing, producing new quotes, upselling/cross selling additional products whilst handling any additional queries that are presented.
We will rely on you to:
Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
Manage all day-to-day queries, new business, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
Maintain a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.
What you need to have:
Previous experience within a similar Insurance Account Manager role is preferred however sales/client/customer facing experience gained from within a similar role or working environment will be considered.
Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and communication skills that can be demonstrated via qualifications/grades gained during education
Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
Have experience utilising the Microsoft Office suite and similar products
