JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for initial credit assessment, processing credit applications, and customer master setup information in various systems.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish new accounts and maintain existing accounts in various systems leveraging information received from field sales, pricing, contract review center, and/or customers.
  • Generate credit score and provide recommendation to the Customer Financial Services Manager/ Director to establish appropriate credit limits and to evaluate risk.
  • Credit Reviews of total exposure for all existing BOS customer set-ups.
  • Suspend/Terminate accounts when requested and reassign credit limits as directed.
  • Double Check prior days new and/or existing account setups to ensure accuracy and completeness and in compliance with established procedures.
  • Prepare and generate morning reports, on your assigned day, to ensure we are in compliance.
  • Research/troubleshoot any change requests received for modification, validation, and/or creation in system(s).
  • Work with Master Data Management system and team to ensure we have the correct global ID’s and Global site ID’s on the customers account.
  • And other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2 years credit, call center, or analytical role experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to input data with a high accuracy rating, and strong attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Prior experience entering customer data into system(s).
  • Prior Credit evaluation experience.
  • Prior Unidata, Decade, Frontier, and/or Oracle software experience.
