We are looking for a curious, motivated and patient-focused Neuroscience Technical Consultant to support our Neuromodulation and Spine business across Croatia and Slovenia. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career talent with a medical or life-science background to grow in a dynamic clinical environment, work closely with healthcare professionals, and contribute to therapies that alleviate pain, restore health and extend life.
In this field-based role, you will partner with sales, clinical and cross-functional teams to provide technical and procedural support in hospitals, including operating room environments. You will support customer education, therapy adoption and case coverage while building trusted relationships with physicians, nurses and hospital teams. The role covers Croatia and Slovenia and requires regular travel within the region, flexibility in daily planning, and the ability to learn quickly in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide technical and procedural support for Neuromodulation and Spine therapies in hospital and operating room settings
  • Support healthcare professionals during planned cases by ensuring appropriate preparation, product knowledge and safe, effective use of Medtronic technologies
  • Build strong working relationships with physicians, nurses, hospital staff and distributor partners across Croatia and Slovenia
  • Partner with the sales team to support account activities, therapy development initiatives, product introductions and customer education programs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medtronic products, procedures, compliance requirements and local healthcare processes
  • Collect and share relevant customer feedback, case insights and market observations with the team to improve planning and execution
  • Represent Medtronic professionally and ethically, in line with internal policies, quality standards and applicable regulations

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine, nursing, biomedical engineering, pharmacy, biology or another relevant medical, life-science or health-science discipline
  • Early career profile with strong motivation to develop in the medical technology industry
  • Good understanding of clinical environments and interest in Neuroscience, Neuromodulation and Spine therapies
  • Fluent Croatian and good command of English; Slovenian language knowledge is an advantage
  • Adaptable team player with strong communication skills, customer focus and willingness to learn quickly
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Croatia and Slovenia and work flexibly according to hospital and case schedules

Previous exposure to operating room settings, direct interaction with healthcare professionals, clinical support, internships in hospitals or experience in a distributor environment would be advantageous but not required. Most important is a strong learning mindset, reliability, curiosity and motivation to grow within a collaborative Neuroscience team.
