CACI has an exciting and immediate opportunity for a Network/Systems Administrator to support the USAF Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). These positions work at the customer on-site Tier 3 support location at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.
Shaw AFB is conveniently located. A 2-hour drive to the north gets you to Charlotte, NC, to the east is Myrtle Beach, and Charleston, SC is to the south. You’ll have access to big city excitement, a quiet beach walk or small town Southern hospitality.

You’ll get to use leading edge technology as you sustain and defend the networks our Air Force warfighters use in the CENTCOM theater. More About the Role
In this role you will:

Provide administration, installation, operation, and maintenance support on applications, systems and infrastructure equipment supporting all the unclassified, classified and coalition networks.

Monitor the security posture (STIG compliance, patching, vulnerability scans, and end-point protection compliancy) of the NOSC networks devices and systems.

Execute remediation actions to ensure proper STIG compliance, patching, vulnerability mitigation and end-point protection compliancy of NOSC networks devices and systems.

Maintain server room including enforcing and monitoring equipment installations, proper cable maintenance, and cleanliness.

Engineer and maintain network layer architecture and systems design to include architecture diagrams and rack elevation drawings.

Monitor NOSC network and systems status using NOSC standard network management platforms and remediate outages and events, as required.

Maintain and update all spare parts and components of the USAFCENT NOSC domain.

Conduct and monitor data backup and recovery for servers and applications IAW local NOSC policies and procedures.

Respond and resolve tickets and incidents in accordance with local NOSC policies and procedures.

Control, safeguard, configure, and provide touch maintenance of encryption devices.

Participate in new technology rollouts on the NOSC domain/networks.
You will also be required to:

Provide oral and written briefs, presentations, and professional reports to Government senior leaders and decision makers.

Develop and review technical documents and checklists to explain abstract IT and cybersecurity technologies and concepts.

Provide on-call support after hours, on weekends and holidays.

Deploy/travel to OCONUS locations in the USCENTCOM AOR to support operations, projects, and training as required (up to 25%).

Travel to CONUS locations as required.
You’ll Bring These Qualification:

Ability to obtain interim DoD Top Secret security clearance prior to start.

B.S. in related field, and 5 or more years’ relevant experience (preferred) OR 7 or more years’ relevant experience.

Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding with installation of Microsoft Windows Server in Host and Compute Environments, and Windows Server 2012 using server images; Experience with implementation of storage solutions, window containers, high availability, Domain Name Systems (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), network connectivity and remote access solutions, core and distributed network solutions, advance network infrastructure, and maintain and monitor server environments.

DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).

Completion of additional Professional Certifications.

ITIL Foundation within 60 days of start date

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$61,600 - $129,300
