Position Summary:
Ribbon is looking for a professional IP-MPLS Networks Solutions Engineer to join our Technical Pre-sales Group, with a focus on L2/L3 networks for our Neptune product line.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out proof of concepts, field trials, and demonstrations from remote or at customers' sites
- Presenting and proving technical solutions and capabilities for existing and new customers
- Be a source of knowledge on all-optical network aspects
Requirements
- 3 years of hands-on experience with L2 and L3 networks and related testing equipment such as Ixia, Viavi & various Traffic analyzers
- In-depth understanding of L2 networks and protocols [STP, ERP, Switching, LAG, Ethernet etc…]
- In-depth understanding of L3 networks and protocols [Routing, OSPFv2/v3, ISIS, LDP, SR, MPLS, RSVP-TE, MBGP, PIM, IGMP, IPv6, ARP, VRRP etc…]
- High service awareness and experience in working with customers at service-oriented environments
- Very high presentation skills
- Very high capabilities of self-learning
- Ability to work as part of a team
- High level of English
- Willingness to travel abroad 30% in a calendar year
