Position Overview

We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our Product Team, focusing on advanced networking solutions for Aerospace, Defense & Rugged Solutions.

This role is designed for engineers who want to grow into a customer-facing technical expert, combining technical work, customer interaction & exposure to real-world system applications.

The position supports global customers, requiring flexibility and collaboration across time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Support preparation of technical proposals (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and compliance matrices.

Write and maintain product datasheets and technical documentation.

Work closely with Sales and R&D teams to define solutions for customers.

Participate in technical discussions with customers to understand requirements.

Provide pre-sale technical support.

Interface with Sales, Project Management, and Configuration Management throughout the project lifecycle.

Support global customers, including occasional work outside standard hours.

Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field – an advantage.

Prior experience in technical pre-sales activities, including customer engagement, solution presentations, and support throughout the sales process.

Basic understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet, switching, IP fundamentals).

Strong problem-solving skills, with a fast-learning approach.

High motivation to grow in a technical, customer-facing role.

Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Ability to work in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.


Advantages:

Experience in a technical customer-facing role (Application Engineer, Technical Support, Pre/Post-Sales Engineering).

Background in networking, embedded systems, or communication systems (industry, internships, or academic projects).

Experience writing technical documentation (proposals, datasheets, system descriptions).

Exposure to defense/aerospace standards.

Hands-on experience with system integration, lab work, or troubleshooting. 

Skills Required

  • Prior experience in technical pre-sales activities, including customer engagement, solution presentations, and sales support
