We’re looking for a Network Technician who will work at our client location. This role requires hands-on experience with networking fundamentals, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
This is a full-time, field & on-site position in Westbury, NY. The work hours are M- F, 8:30a -4:00p. Our benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance; 401k with company match and PTO.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage network infrastructure, including routing, VLANs, and port assignments.
- Conduct walkthroughs and site assessments to ensure project success.
- Maintain organized documentation and project tracking.
- Collaborate with vendors to plan and execute network projects.
- Handle low-voltage tasks, including cable terminations and cable runs.
Requirements:
- Strong networking knowledge (platform-agnostic; Cisco, Juniper, etc.), with experience in routing, VLANs, and port assignments.
- Experience in low-voltage cabling (terminations, cable runs, etc.).
- Ability to manage and coordinate projects with vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, open-minded attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Valid and clean driver's license and reliable vehicle.
