Role description:
As a Network Systems Integrator, you will support the integration of network infrastructure, digital platforms, data workflows, and operational systems used to deliver broadband, managed services, and infrastructure programs.
This role combines hands-on technical integration, systems administration, data handling, workflow automation, and implementation support. You will work with internal teams, clients, and vendors to connect systems, validate data, troubleshoot issues, document repeatable processes, and improve the reliability and scalability of delivery workflows.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working across technical and operational domains, including APIs, structured data, internal platforms, OSS/BSS systems, network-facing tools, and project delivery environments. This role requires strong analytical discipline, practical automation skills, attention to data quality, and the ability to turn ambiguous or manual processes into documented, repeatable, and supportable solutions.
While this position is hands-on, it also includes responsibility for working independently with appropriate senior review, providing technical guidance to junior team members, reviewing technical work products, and helping plan and oversee small assignments or defined project tasks.
As a consulting role, this position requires a strong customer-service mindset and the ability to represent Arcadis professionally in technical discussions with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders. The Network Systems Integrator will be expected to understand customer goals, clarify technical and operational requirements, identify risks or gaps, and translate those requirements into clear implementation tasks, work packages, and guidance for junior team members.
Role accountabilities:
- Support the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing improvement of system integration solutions across network, data, digital, and operational environments.
- Integrate telecommunications infrastructure, network-facing platforms, internal tools, and operational systems into service provider and managed services workflows.
- Support integration approaches across Operational Support Systems (OSS), Business Support Systems (BSS), provisioning systems, reporting platforms, ticketing systems, network inventory, documentation systems, and other internal or client-facing platforms.
- Design, build, test, and support data integration workflows, including APIs, ETL/ELT processes, system interfaces, scheduled imports/exports, structured data exchanges, and operational reporting feeds.
- Analyze, clean, transform, validate, and reconcile operational datasets across internal systems, client systems, vendor platforms, network tools, spreadsheets, logs, API responses, and database exports.
- Build validation checks, exception reports, and repeatable test procedures to confirm that integrations, provisioning workflows, data exchanges, and operational processes are functioning as expected.
- Develop, maintain, and improve automation scripts, integration utilities, and internal tools that reduce manual effort, improve repeatability, and support scalable delivery across multiple clients and projects.
- Design automation with appropriate configuration management, logging, error handling, documentation, testing, and operational supportability.
- Administer and support internal technical systems used for implementation delivery, lab environments, documentation, automation, reporting, managed services operations, and client project delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to translate business requirements, operational needs, and technical constraints into practical, scalable, and supportable solutions.
- Lead technical discussions with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders, ensuring customer requirements, operational constraints, risks, and desired outcomes are clearly understood and documented.
- Translate customer requirements and solution designs into practical work items, implementation tasks, test activities, documentation needs, and handoff materials for junior staff and project delivery teams.
