Network Strategy Analyst

Position Summary:
The manager-level analyst of Networks Strategy will be responsible for analyzing, building, and maintaining financial and operational tools to support organizational understanding of the network value and its flow into underwriting modeling. The motivated and detail-oriented manager will deploy capabilities to increase both automation and data accuracy.
A candidate on this team will perform a variety of ad-hoc analyses in response to specific business questions and will have the opportunity to present to and work in collaboration with internal business partners, such as Network Development, Pricing/Underwriting, Operations, and Finance.
The Manager, Network Strategy will:
- Create and maintain BigQuery / SQL processes to integrate with master claims tables to fit the needs of cost of goods modeling. Create standard data summary outputs that will help understand trends.
- Develop and support Excel and Tableau based financial impact reports or dashboards that assist in leadership decision making and strategy.
- Build Excel models to answer business questions and help model and quantify network value.
- Other ad hoc financial modeling and duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of analytical experience in network, contracting, pricing, and/or finance
- 3+ years experience in Specialty Pharmacy, PBM, or related healthcare field
- Experience utilizing Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP's, pivot tables
- Experience with SQL and Data Visualization
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical data management
- 3+ Advanced Excel knowledge including formulas, VLOOKUP's, pivot tables
- 3+ Experience with BigQuery/SQL, Dataiku programming languages (Python/R), and Data Visualization
- 3+ Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite Products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands
- Experience working cross-functionally in an organization.
- Reporting and data analytics experience

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
