What You'll Do
- You will develop and maintain secure network solutions to protect against cyber threats, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems: plan - document - implement - configure - debug - improve
- You will provide expert advice on network security strategies and solutions to cross functional project teams
- You will troubleshoot intermediate to advanced problems, escalating to upper level associates as appropriate
- You will monitor and analyze security events in real-time to detect and respond to threats.
- You will manage small to medium Networking projects within area of specialization.
- You will develop detailed designs, business cases, and communicate expert advice on network security strategies and solutions needed to support business critical systems and operations.
- You will lead problem resolution and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- You must have a Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or in lieu of degree 8 years of IT experience.
- You must have minimum of 3 years total of relevant Technical or Business work experience.
- You must have the ability to convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences.
- You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You must have the ability to understand the business needs and deliver prompt, efficient, quality service to the business.
- Your SOC experience would be an asset.
- Your Security Certification would be an asset.
- You must have Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, Strata Cloud, and Global Protect, Cisco Firewalls, Switches, and Wireless
- Your ITIL certification is an asset.
- You must be willing to travel.
- You must have the ability to understand the business needs and translate them in adequate IT solutions.
- You must have very good communication skills - speech adapted to the audience.
- You must be a good team player and able to work autonomously in a multi-cultural environment.
- You must have good analytical & problem determination skills.
- You must have an effective organization & time management skill.
- You must have good project management skills.
