This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time zone.
We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze and re-price existing client claims data to support client specific data analytics using SQL server, Netezza databases
- Prepare requisite competitive (i.e., external) and internal historical claims data for use in the development of RFP response submission activities
- Utilize relational database tools to re-price / trial adjudicate pharmacy claims
- Validate source data and interpret / QA re-price / trial adjudication and summary and detail report results
- Analyze source historical claims data for anomalies and / or trends in drug utilization patterns and costs
- Develop and / or analyze and refine existing analytical models, and database queries as appropriate
- Conduct financial and network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting

You'll be expected to monitor, analyze and incorporate those changes in reporting packages and relay them through finance to pricing and underwriting.

Required Qualifications:
- BA / BS Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, OR related degree
- 2+ years of Experience Analytical experience in data analysis
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate SQL OR other relational database solution experience
- Experience of writing complex SQL, PL / SQL queries for Data Analysis & Reconciliation
- Ability to work any of our full time shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time zone from Monday - Friday
Preferred Qualifications:
- Python, SAS, R for Analytical Model Development
- Analytical experience in data analysis, health care pricing, network management, healthcare economics, OR related discipline
- PBM experience

- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $49,700 - $88,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
