Network Planning Specialist

Flix is a leading global tech mobility provider, driving affordable and sustainable travel for everyone. We are looking for a strategic and driven Network Planner to design and optimize our bus network, shaping the future of mobility.

You will join our Network Planning team where you can make an impact by helping us shape our bus network, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

About the Role

• You manage a portfolio of Intercity Bus lines, scheduling the routes as well as planning bus and driver rotations
• You develop and scale a robust and profitable bus network, balancing travel demand, profitability, and sustainability
• You coordinate your line portfolio with stakeholders navigating competing priorities and difficult discussions to ensure smooth line starts and ongoing performance
• You conduct quantitative analysis and reconcile data from multiple sources, knowing when to push for clarity and when to act on incomplete information, to make informed decisions
• You present ideas as well as figures in an informative and relevant way to update your team and stakeholders
• You have strong bias for action – always striving to bring your portfolio of lines to its most optimal state
• You thrive in a constantly changing environment and adapt your priorities and approach as the business evolves

About You

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business, transportation, urban planning, geography, economics or a related field
• 2+ years’ experience in transportation/supply planning, project management, or a related field in a fast-paced, business-driven environment
• Strong analytical and modelling skills to tackle and solve complex transportation and planning challenges
• Strong communication skills, ensuring efficient and effective collaboration across diverse groups
• Proven ability to manage difficult stakeholder relationships: you can hold a position under pressure, negotiate across functions, and maintain the relationship while doing so
• Project management experience is a plus
• You figure things out on your own before escalating – you have taught yourself tools, processes, or market knowledge because the answer was not handed to you
• Fluent in English
