What We Need:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Planner to join our team. This role will involve designing, planning, and optimizing our wireless network infrastructure to ensure top-tier service quality and seamless connectivity. You’ll work collaboratively with our talented teams to enhance our network performance and deployment strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design: Plan and optimize 60 GHz wireless links using high-resolution line of sight data.
- Optimization & Analysis: Ensure scalability and reliability of the network through capacity analysis and optimization.
- Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Network Engineering, and IT teams to optimize planning software and ensure deployment success.
- Technical Support: Provide guidance during network deployment and ensure timely, quality delivery of network builds.
- Data Insights: Leverage AWS, Amazon Athena, and custom dashboards to track performance, identify challenges, and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of network planning, ideally for a wireless internet service provider.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with wireless communication technologies.
- Experience with AWS, SQL, and Amazon Athena for querying and analysis.
- Experience creating performance dashboards and reports.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Background in computer science, data science
- Previous customer service experience.
