JUNIOR NETWORK ENGINEER 

Job Description: 

Our Infrastructure team, is looking for new talents.  
In order to improve everyday our platform, we are looking for a Junior Network Engineer who helps us on a wide range of new projects aimed to the constant innovation of our global infrastructure. 
The successful candidate will support the team in the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of all network devices, connections, links, peerings, and BGPs. The role will particularly focus on monitoring alarms, analyzing and mitigating issues, fixing network traffic, routing, and network device problems, as well as executing network capacity task. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and ensure the quality of network infrastructure. 

• Respond to network alarms and assist in incident resolution. 

• Analyze traffic and support troubleshooting of performance issues. 

• Support WAN design activities using protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and IS-IS. 

• Assist in managing MPLS/VPLS environments. 

• Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls). 

• Help optimize network connections and BGP routing. 

• Contribute to network capacity planning and upgrades. 

• Maintain accurate documentation of network setups and procedures. 

• Create basic scripts for monitoring and analysis. 

• Provide on-call support when required.

Qualifications: 

• Education:Bachelor in IT field or equivalent experience; 

• Experience:1+ years of experience in ICT industry; 

• Skills: 

• Knowledge of TCP/IP (LAN e WAN), routing IP v4 e v6, based on OSPF, BGP  IS-IS; 

• Setup configuration and troubleshooting of CISCO devices; 

• Basic knowledge of BASH scripting and Shell command 

• Basic configuration of opensource network monitor utilities with custom scripts (common Linux script languages). 

• Exposure to CDN infrastructure is a plus. 

• Languages: A good level of English is required
