Network Operations Engineer
About the Role
We're looking for a Network Operations Engineer to join our CloudOps team and keep our infrastructure secure, patched, and available around the clock. You'll monitor and support a multi-cloud environment, primarily Azure, with an AWS footprint, spanning Windows, Linux, and SQL Server systems. Coverage runs follow-the-sun, so you'll be part of a rotation that ensures alerts never go unwatched, wherever in the world they fire.
What You'll Do :
Monitor & Respond
- Watch infrastructure health, performance, and security across Azure, AWS, Windows, Linux, and SQL Server using our monitoring and observability tools.
- Triage incoming alerts, assess severity, and take action — or escalate with clear context — as part of a follow-the-sun on-call rotation.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents using established runbooks, and document what happened, why, and how it was fixed.
Patch & Maintain
- Plan, schedule, and execute patches and updates across cloud resources, servers, and databases, coordinating maintenance windows to minimize business impact.
- Keep patch and compliance records current to meet security and regulatory requirements.
Improve & Report
- Track SLA, MTTR, and MTBF metrics, and report on system reliability to stakeholders.
- Contribute to post-incident reviews and refine runbooks, alert thresholds, and escalation policies based on what you learn.
- Flag opportunities to automate repetitive operational work.
What You Bring
- 2–4 years in cloud operations, systems administration, or network operations.
- Hands-on experience with Azure; exposure to AWS is a plus.
- Comfort administering both Windows and Linux systems, plus familiarity with SQL Server.
- Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or equivalent) and patch management processes.
- A track record of clear incident documentation and communication under pressure.
- Willingness to work a follow-the-sun on-call rotation, including off-hours coverage.
Nice to Have
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-900) or AWS equivalents.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM) or CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in SRE practices or backup/disaster recovery (RTO/RPO).
Salary Range: ₹12,00,000 to ₹18,00,000 plus 10% bonus
As a learning company we believe in the potential of everyone; if you don't have experience in all the details mentioned in this job post, then we still encourage you to apply and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
