Overview
We are seeking a Network Engineer 1 with hands-on experience in Datacenter Operations and Network Operations Center (NOC) environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills for rack switches, spinal switches, and rack configurations, as well as proficiency in processing technical documentation and RMA requests with vendors. Experience working with industry-leading vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Celestica, and Nvidia is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot datacenter network infrastructure, including rack switches and spinal switches.
Perform rack configuration tasks and ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
Respond to network incidents and outages, providing rapid diagnosis and resolution in a NOC setting.
Process and manage technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and operational procedures.
Handle RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) requests and coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements and repairs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support datacenter operations and network projects.
Maintain accurate records of network assets, incidents, and vendor communications.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in Datacenter Operations and/or Network Operations Center (NOC) roles.
Strong troubleshooting skills for rack switches, spinal switches, and rack configurations.
Familiarity with network hardware and protocols.
Experience processing technical documentation and RMA requests.
Proven ability to work with vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Celestica, and Nvidia.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent.
Knowledge of datacenter best practices and operational standards.
Ability to multi-task issues and assignments.
Salary Range
$59,812.00 - $94,440.00 USD (Salary)- Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
