Job Overview
Network management Manila is responsible of taking care of ING’s relationship with various agent/correspondent banks. We ensure ING Group as a whole is being guided to select preferred agent/correspondent banks and ensure these banks are charging ING according to the Fee agreements.
As the processes are related to post-transactions, the team will be the one preventing ING from incurring unnecessary cost and provide the overview of the overall costs paid by ING charged by various agent/correspondent banks.
Having the overview costs, ING will be able to negotiate to lower the fees from external parties hence potential savings for the firm.
For Account Maintenance, the main purpose is to centralize the account opening and closing of Nostro Accounts which mitigates the risk exposure of ING by limiting the accounts with external agent/correspondent banks.
The ideal candidate reports to the circle lead and is expected to interact with Center of Excellence (COE) in Amsterdam and colleagues from various geographies (within ING and external parties)
Key Responsibilities/ Capabilities
- Accurate daily processing of different set of activities according to agreed KPI’s with CoE
- Responsible for correct and timely processing of Nostro Invoices of all ING Entities by tariff checking using the Fee Schedule agreements
- Perform Opening & Closing of Nostro & Loro Accounts based on the Nostro Account Policy
- Perform Account Reconciliations of all ING Entities
- Perform Myriad System Maintenance
- Preparation of various reports for ING stakeholders
- Able to handle daily exceptions (basic to complex) with general supervision in solving the issue
- Able to handle incoming queries in mailboxes from different stakeholders with minimal supervision
- Timely escalations of any issues deemed to affect the process
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work under pressure and capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks
- Have a client driven approach
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients and partners
- MS Office proficient with the ability to work with multiple applications at the same time.
- Superior attention to detail
- Experience working in Invoicing/Network management/Correspondent Banking is an advantage.
