AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Network Lead with an Active Secret Clearance (Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility preferred), Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience to provide information technology support to Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Management Area Services (IMAS).
ResponsibilitiesAs a Network Lead, you will:
- Facilitate the digital transformation of PAE Fires. This includes the adoption and integration of advanced digital technologies, processes, and practices to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and overall mission effectiveness.Conducts testing of network design.
- Responsible for monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options.
- Plans implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network.
- Advises network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
- Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
- Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience in leading classified and unclassified network operations; LAN/WAN infrastructure; voice, data, and video services
- Experience in network design, installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and high availability.
- DoD 8140 certifications
- Network administration and engineering experience.
- Active Secret Clearance (Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility preferred).
