What is the role?

EnduroSat builds satellites and space services. We are hiring an experienced engineer to design, build and run our network and infrastructure. You will take projects from the first design through to implementation. Beyond networking, you will share responsibility for our servers, virtualization and backups, and support our information security compliance program. 

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Design, document, build and support network architecture across offices and datacenters: core and access layers, VLANs, IP addressing and capacity planning
• Own firewalls and network security across multiple sites, including BGP, high availability, security policy, VPN and threat protection
• Plan and carry out migrations with written change plans, maintenance windows and rollback steps
• Design and test disaster recovery and failover between sites
• Look after server infrastructure together with the IT team
• Improve monitoring, automate repetitive work, and lead incident response and post-incident reviews
• Own the infrastructure controls for ISO 27001 and NIS2, keep the evidence up to date, and represent infrastructure in audits
• Keep network diagrams, IPAM and runbooks up to date

What do we look for?

• 5+ years in network engineering, with at least 2 in a datacenter or colocation environment
• Proven experience designing a network and then implementing it, including at least one major migration or new site build
• Strong BGP skills: multi-homing, path selection, route filtering, and failover
• Solid Layer 2 and Layer 3 skills: VLANs, STP, LACP, multi-chassis link aggregation 
• Hands-on experience with firewalls [e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, specify]
• Experience with storage and virtualization networking
• Working sysadmin skills on Windows Server / AD and Linux, and administrator-level experience with vSphere
• Scripting in Python, Ansible or PowerShell, and keeping configuration in Git
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIS2
• Clear written documentation and diagrams
• Experience using AI tools to speed up scripting, documentation or troubleshooting

• Proxmox VE and Ceph
• Track record of completing professional certifications
• PCNSE, CCNP or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
