What You’ll Do
Execute advanced device racking and mounting, interpreting Rack Elevation Diagrams (REDs) for Cisco Nexus 9k, Catalyst 9500, and other appliances.
Ensure mechanical safety, proper power sequencing, and rack integrity.
Handle structured cabling and fiber management, including SMF/MMF fiber, SFP/SFP+/QSFP+ modules, and ANSI/TIA 606-B patching standards.
Manage patch panels, cross-connects, and coordinate circuit extensions with Telco providers.
Configure and troubleshoot out-of-band (OOB) remote management and console access.
Provide local support for BIOS-level troubleshooting and live boot sequence monitoring.
Apply advanced routing and switching knowledge across Layers 1–3, including VLANs, STP, EtherChannel/LACP, and protocol verification (BGP, OSPF).
Collaborate with NOC and infrastructure teams to resolve mission-critical incidents.
Requirements
What You Need
6–8 years of experience in a Data Center or large Enterprise campus environment.
Strong background in Ethernet and fiber cabling installation on Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, and F5 load balancers.
Proficiency in routing and switching, with hands-on experience in Cisco IOS, NX-OS, PAN OS, or Arista EOS.
Skilled in using tools such as Visual Fault Locators (VFL), Light Meters, and Fiber Inspection Scopes.
CCNA certification is mandatory; CCNP Enterprise (ENCORE) highly preferred.
Experience handling mission-critical incidents in enterprise networks and data centers.
Willingness to work onsite Monday to Friday (no hybrid or remote model).
Local language proficiency is mandatory.
