Focus of the Role

This role oversees international network planning—including backhaul, subsea, and related facilities—ensuring feasibility within network, financial, and resource parameters, while supporting both multi-year strategies and ongoing customer projects.
Candidates should have strong network planning expertise, the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable plans, analytical and execution skills, and effective communication to influence stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
To be a leading network planner for international telecom connectivity, you need a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic planning ability, and strong communication skills. It’s not just about knowing the technology—it’s about designing resilient, scalable, and cost-effective global networks while coordinating across diverse stakeholders. Key areas are:
Engage with clients to identify their connectivity needs and challenges.
Deliver expert advice on network infrastructure, design, and optimization.
Provide network connectivity feasibility and solutions to Enterprise and Wholesale Sales requests and ensure these are in line with resources, economical and technically feasible and aligned to capacity plan.
Responsible international network planning to meet in-your and long-term network demands
Provide drive and cross-function leadership to improve operating cadence
Capacity Planning & Forecasting: Anticipating demand growth and planning scalable infrastructure across multiple countries.
Regulatory & Standards Compliance: Knowledge of international telecom regulations, licensing, and industry standards.
Vendor & Supplier Management. Liaising with global service providers, monitoring contractual obligations, and ensuring delivery.
Risk Management: Designing redundancy and disaster recovery strategies for international networks.
About You
Knowledge of transport and IP Networks (Desirable)
Experience: Overall 12+ years of exp and at least 5 years in telecom network design or planning
Capacity planning, Subsea or Backhaul Network planning experience
Hands on Network architecture
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft tools – Excel., Power BI, Analytical thinking,
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Project management experience and /or qualification
