Job Description- Maintain computer networks including routers, switches, VPNs and other physical hardware/software
- Configure and maintain Aruba wireless hardware including Mobility Conductor, Mobility Controllers, Access Points, and switches.
- Execute Wi-Fi RF (Radio Frequency) planning, site surveys, and tuning to ensure optimal coverage, signal quality, and minimal interference.
- Implement and monitor robust network security measures, including 802.1X, RADIUS/EAP-TLS authentication, and Role-Based Access Control (ClearPass)
- Monitor systems to improve network performance for all systems
- Create firewall rules and update software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected
- Provide on-site support for projects that require on-site installation and support
- Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases
- Provide Tier 2/3 support to diagnose, isolate, and resolve wireless connectivity and performance issues
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Report network status to key stakeholders
- Improve knowledge and understanding of network and security best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to travel overnight
- 5+ year of network related work experience
- Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to execute excellent customer service relationship skills
- Ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience in the implementation and operation of wireless networks is a plus. (Cisco or Aruba)
- Prior experience providing network administration a plus
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) a plus
- No job hopper
