Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a strong background in Wi-Fi, switching, routing, firewall technologies, and network automation principles. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of network protocols, network security, and automation frameworks to enhance network performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across datacentre, cloud, and office environments
- Design and implement firewall policies and VPN connectivity
- Install, configure, and cable network hardware in a datacenter
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure and development teams to ensure network solutions align with business requirements and engineering best practices
- Develop and implement network automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Provide BAU support for network infrastructure, participate in an on-call rotation
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong enterprise and datacentre networking experience with expertise equivalent to CCNP/CCIE level
- Excellent understanding of networking fundamentals, including the OSI model, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network design principles
- Experience with BGP, MP-BGP, VRF, and route leaking
- Experience with Internet and private peering connectivity
- Experience with Multicast technologies (IGMP/PIM)
- Good understanding of firewall policies, IPSEC VPNs, SSL technologies, and network security best practices
- Experience implementing and supporting Network Access Control (NAC) platforms such as Cisco ISE, Arista AGNI, or similar 802.1x solutions
- Experience with Python scripting and network automation frameworks
- Operational level in Linux
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jinja2, NetBox, Git, and GitLab CI/CD
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with overlay networks (EVPN / VXLAN)
- Experience with cloud networking technologies across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience operating in low-latency, high-performance, or financial services environments
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms including Prometheus, Alert Manager, and Grafana
Skills Required
