Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Network Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. This role requires deep expertise in network design, architecture, and operations, along with the ability to operate effectively in a mission-driven environment.
This is a full-time, on-site position located near Quantico, VA. The work location is expected to transition to Huntsville, AL in December 2027. Remote work is not available.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) in support of mission requirements
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Develop and deliver briefings, technical presentations, and documentation to government personnel
Qualifications
Clearance
- Current TS will be required to undergo a CI poly upon hire.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching, and network architecture planning
- Must have knowledge of remote administration and secure Virtual Private Networking
- Must understand commercial encryption standards and their application in IP networking
- Must have knowledge of VPN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IP Multicasting
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within small and large groups
- Familiarity GEMONE Taclane encryption management
- Cisco Firepower
- Cisco ISE DNA Center
Desired Skills
- An ability to navigate and configure Linux operating systems
- An understanding of wired data transport mediums to include Category 5e/6 and fiber optics.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP
