Nimbyx • Full onsite in BGC, Taguig • Full time Permanent
At Nimbyx, we don’t just maintain networks, we engineer the backbone that powers global AI-driven healthcare workflows. As we scale EviSmart across 26+ countries, our infrastructure must meet a higher standard: zero-downtime reliability, ruthless efficiency, and architectures built from first principles.
We’re looking for a Network Engineer who doesn’t just troubleshoot issues, but anticipates them, designs against them, and builds networks that scale as fast as our ambition.
If you’re the kind of engineer who treats infrastructure like a living system, values precision, and loves solving hard problems at the root, not the surface, then you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Own
- Network Architecture & Reliability
- Design, implement, and optimize the network infrastructure that supports global CAD operations, AI pipelines, and customer workflows.
- Build for performance, predictability, and scale—not patchwork fixes.
- Ensure always-on connectivity across distributed teams and multi-site environments.
- Monitoring, Diagnostics & Root-Cause Engineering
- Establish real-time monitoring, alerting, and early-warning systems for network health.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analyses; eliminate recurring issues with permanent, structural fixes.
- Reduce noise, false positives, and manual escalations through automation.
- Security, Compliance & Hardening
- Implement and maintain secure network boundaries (firewalls, VPNs, access controls).
- Enforce least-privilege principles across all network touchpoints.
- Partner with Security Engineering to strengthen threat detection and incident response readiness.
- Infrastructure Scaling & Optimization
- Benchmark network performance; identify bottlenecks long before they impact operations.
- Drive bandwidth planning, load balancing, and redundancy strategies.
- Engineer for low latency, high throughput, and minimal service disruption.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Solutions teams to map their needs into network requirements.
- Equip teams with reliable environments so they can focus on delivering value - not fighting infrastructure constraints.
- Onsite Leadership
- Provide hands-on support for critical systems, office connectivity, and production workflows.
- Serve as the onsite authority for all network systems and escalations.
Key Metrics You Will Be Accountable For
- Network Uptime: 99.9%+
- Incident Response Time: < 10 minutes
- Recurring Issue Rate: trending toward zero
- Latency & Throughput Benchmarks: consistent, predictable, and continuously improving
- SLA Adherence: internal and customer-facing
What You Bring
- Strong foundation in network design, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, load balancing, and firewall configuration.
- Experience with enterprise-grade hardware (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, or equivalent).
- Hands-on expertise with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix).
- Comfort working in on-prem, hybrid, or multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP a plus).
- Strong documentation habits and a bias for preventing issues rather than reacting to them.
- Calm under pressure; thrives in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
- A first-principles mindset - willing to rebuild systems the right way.
- A customer-first attitude - network health is customer experience.
Why This Role Matters
Every customer interaction, every CAD case rendered, every AI model deployed depends on the stability and speed of our network. If the network falters, the entire system falters. If you do your job brilliantly, millions of patients benefit from faster, smarter dental care.
This is more than infrastructure - this is the foundation of how digital dentistry evolves.
If You’re the Kind of Engineer Who…
- Thinks five steps ahead
- Enjoys solving problems before others even notice them
- Builds systems that don’t break
- Treats uptime as a promise
- Wants to be part of a mission that changes healthcare
…then we’d love to meet you.
