As a Network Engineer, you will work with a collaborative team of highly-skilled traders, developers, and operation engineers in order to optimize and design a robust and efficient network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth operation of network infrastructure, resolving issues and maintaining performance.
- Implementing solutions to optimise and improve on-prem and cloud network systems and interconnects.
- Handling planned network maintenance activities.
- Participating in network infrastructure planning, capacity management and procurement processes.
- Implement and maintain secure configuration standards, firewall policies and adhere to the info sec policy to protect the network resources. Also participate in security audits for internal businesses.
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders (traders, data centers, third party suppliers, service providers)
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, inventory, and monitoring systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
- Proficiency in core networking technologies (LACP, STP, VLAN, MLAG, OSPF, BGP, IGMP, PIM).
- Experience in wide area networks, multicast routing, security devices (firewalls).
- Proficiency in network services (SNMP/Telemetry, Syslog, NTP/PTP, TACACS+/RADIUS).
- Experience with Unix/Linux command line and networking stack.
- Knowledge of Data centre operations (cabling and optics standards, hardware installation requirements, experience working with smart hands).
- Familiarity with either Arista or Cisco technologies/CLI.
- Ideally experience with low-latency networking and supporting electronic trading systems.
- Hands-on experience with network automation frameworks and tools (Bash, Python, Ansible, Netbox) is a plus.
- Experience with designing, deploying and managing cloud networks and connectivity is a plus.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting cloud network performance using native and third-party tools is a plus
