Job brief:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure, both physical and virtual, including design, implementation, systems engineering principles, and maintenance of enhancements to complex systems and networks.
The impact you'll make:
- Configure and implement secure systems and Cisco network infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain our cloud network infrastructure, with a focus on AWS, IBM, and Google Cloud
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that systems and networks meet business requirements.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in systems engineering and network engineering.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
What you've accomplished:
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and network engineering.
- Experience with Cisco and Meraki network design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies.
- Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies, specifically infrastructure and network.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with strong soft skills.
- Understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies. Including experience with Okta, Ota Workflows, Google Workspaces, Slack, and Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, and Statuspage.io)
