What You'll Do:
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and cloud-integrated network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and availability;
- Configure and support network equipment including routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless solutions (e.g., Cisco, HPE, Fortinet, F5);
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues related to connectivity, throughput, and routing across diverse network segments;
- Optimize network performance through analysis, tuning, and capacity planning to support enterprise-grade applications and services;
- Participate in the rollout of new network services and technologies, including SD-WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS configurations;
- Document network topologies, configurations, and procedures to support operational readiness and incident response;
- Work with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects, application deployments, and system integrations;
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and client-specific network requirements.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise IP networking, including routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel);
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment and solutions; CCNP (Enterprise) certification or equivalent is strongly preferred;
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation practices for performance and isolation (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, etc.);
- Solid understanding of network monitoring, diagnostics, and management tools;
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with hybrid environments and cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP);
- Exposure to network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible) is an asset;
- Understanding of load balancing, HA/DR architectures, and traffic optimization (e.g., F5 BIG-IP, Citrix ADC);
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, ticketing systems, and change control procedures.
