Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant network engineering experience is required.
- Experience: 8 years
- Required Skills/Certs:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience designing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting secure enterprise network infrastructure.
- Experience supporting Cisco networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and general network appliances.
- Demonstrated experience with classified environments, encrypted networks, and cross-domain solutions.
- Familiarity with network monitoring, performance tuning, and documentation practices in accordance with federal standards.
- Proficiency with networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Hands-on experience with Inline Network Encryptors (INE), Cisco IOS, and ForcePoint cross-domain technologies
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot both physical and virtual networks (including VMware integration)
- Working knowledge of network security tools (e.g., Tenable, Splunk) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Required Clearance:
- Active Top Secret clearance required. Selected candidates will be required to obtain TS/SCI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent required; CCIE or equivalent is a plus
