NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialists team seeks an Infiniband Network Engineer to help customers realize next-generation data center networks. You'll join a team working around the globe to build and deploy some of the most cutting-edge data center solutions in the world! This role will focus on automation and logical configuration of network devices and customer networks. We work with customers of all sizes, from small networks up to the world's largest and most sophisticated data centers and supercomputers. AI Factory Network Engineers deliver the technologies, solutions and services customers need to efficiently implement and run their networks. In this role, they are "The face of NVIDIA to the customer," working in fast-paced, high-impact environments as meaningful contributors delivering on our commitments.

What you'll be doing:

  • Primary responsibilities will include building AI Factory infrastructure for new and existing customers.

  • Support operational and reliability aspects of large-scale AI clusters with a focus on performance at scale, real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting.

  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.

  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.

  • Be the focal point for any networking-related escalations. Provide feedback to internal teams such as opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting improvements.

What we need to see:

  • B.Sc. in computer science/electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience with InfiniBand.

  • Experience in solving problems in large-scale InfiniBand network environments.

  • Driven focus on customer needs and satisfaction.

  • Self-motivated with excellent leadership skills.

  • Strong written, verbal, and listening skills are essential.

  • Proven customer-facing expertise

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Linux or Networking Certifications.

  • Experience with AI Factory/High-performance computing architectures.

  • Understanding of how MPI works, as well as an understanding of how job schedulers (Slurm, PBS) work.

  • Proven knowledge of Python or Bash.

  • Professional Services/Infrastructure Specialist's delivery experience.
