The Role

Who we are looking for
A Network Engineer, who will assist in maintaining and supporting our enterprise network infrastructure, contributing to seamless connectivity, high availability, and optimal performance.
Due to our continued growth across the US, your primary focus will be on our Network infrastructure and offices in the US and South America.
You will maintain and monitor the network infrastructure, ensuring its operational efficiency, reliability, and compliance. Your responsibilities will include performing regular upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements to maintain optimal performance and seamless connectivity across the US and South America.
You will be responsible for completing Operational functions, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing solutions to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment. You will also handle challenging tasks with efficiency and precision, ensuring the seamless operation of our cutting-edge technology infrastructure.
Our network is extremely resilient to support the continued growth of the platform. This consists of a wide range of technologies from many market leading vendors.
You will be joining an exciting and collaborative dynamic team and contribute to the success of our Company in a rapidly evolving industry.
The salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company's hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred skills and experience
Proven engineering experience, supporting large scale multi-vendor enterprise and campus networks including Cisco, Arista and Aruba.
Knowledge of network protocols such as Ethernet, TCP and IP, VLANs, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools to diagnose and resolve network issues including WLAN configuration, and RF design and troubleshooting.
Understanding of network security principles, including access control lists, firewall policies and VPN configurations.
Experience in working with low-level network protocols and technologies, such as DHCP, DNS, NAT and IP addressing.
Ability to perform basic network device configurations, including firmware upgrades, port configurations and VLAN assignments.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve network issues.
Excellent documentation skills to maintain accurate records of network configurations, diagrams and troubleshooting steps.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, provide technical support to end users, and explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Experience with AAA Authentication Authorization Accounting including RADIUS, 802.1X, EAP-TLS and TEAP.
Main Responsibilities
Responding promptly to incidents and service requests, while providing technical support to end-users and resolving network related issues.
Configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
Monitoring network performance and proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal uptime, throughput and latency.
Collaborating with cross functional teams to understand Business requirements and providing network solutions that align with organizational objectives.
Performing network upgrades, including firmware updates and hardware replacements, while minimizing disruption to the operation.
Documenting network configurations, diagrams and troubleshooting guides to maintain an accurate record of the network infrastructure.
Ensuring network compliance meets our networking standards.
Liaising and working collaboratively with the UK network team.
