Devsinc is looking for a passionate Network Engineer to join its dynamic team.
Network Maintenance & Monitoring:
Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Implement tools for continuous network monitoring, such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds, and configure alerts for network anomalies.
Infrastructure Management:
Design, configure, and deploy VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
Manage network access control, implement IP addressing, subnetting, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.).
Support virtual and cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring network integration with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud environments.
Security & Compliance:
Implement network security measures including firewall policies, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption protocols.
Regularly update and patch network devices to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
Ensure network compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support:
Identify and troubleshoot network issues, coordinate with vendors when necessary, and resolve incidents promptly.
Provide technical support for network-related issues to other IT teams and end-users.
Conduct root cause analysis after incidents to prevent recurrences.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of network configurations, policies, and protocols.
Prepare regular reports on network performance, usage statistics, and incidents.
Document all changes to network configuration and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
Upgrades & Optimisation:
Assess current network infrastructure and recommend upgrades or improvements.
Optimize network performance by implementing QoS policies, load balancing, and failover strategies.
Coordinate and execute network projects, upgrades, and deployments to support the growth of the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience in network administration.
Certifications: Network+ or CCNA required; additional certifications like CCNP or CEH are a plus.
