What You'll Do:

  • Work with a team of accomplished engineers to design, configure, install, and maintain various network devices and services (routers, switches, access points, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QOS etc.).
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Collaborate on Microsoft Azure cloud network design, engineering, and administrative support of network services within Azure and on-premises environments.
  • Support administration, configuration, and monitoring of cloud network resources (switches, routers, firewalls, Express route Gateways, Route tables, etc.)
  • Monitor performance of network services and ensure system availability and reliability. Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with and support Solution Engineering and Product Engineering teams in their design and implementation of solutions.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft M365 Engineers to configure network and telephony and enable/support Teams Voice services.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate on integration of Azure Active Directory with networking resources.
  • Provide ongoing support for DNS and other network resources to support hosting of website, applications, and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with Security team to document and implement security tools, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards (ISO, NIST).
  • Collaborate with network providers and partners (Comcast, Verizon, AT&T, Ziply etc.) to procure and provision network services.
  • Keep abreast of and gain expertise in the evolving technologies and understand how new technologies could be applied.
Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, related technical field, or equivalent experience in an enterprise organization.
  • CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued).
  • Relevant Azure certification such as AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-500, AZ-700 is a plus.
  • 5+ years as a hybrid Network Engineer including experience with on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of experience with Cisco IOS, multilayer switches and routers, Palo Alto Firewalls, ISE, IPSEC, VPN and Wireless networking.
  • 3+ years of experience with installation, wiring and configuration of network devices at a wide variety of locations (Data centers, offices, retail, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities).
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
  • Strong experience with supporting Azure Cloud infrastructure specifically Virtual Network (VNET), Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, Virtual Network NAT Gateway, Azure DNS, Azure Firewall, Azure Virtual Network Manage, and Peering Service.
  • Experience working with Load balancers and Azure load balancers.
  • Deep understanding of IAM, Azure AD and SSO integration with other cloud services and applications
  • Experience building cloud automation, including CI/CD pipelines using PowerShell and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with implementation of Cybersecurity policies, industry standards (ISO, NIST) and controls.
  • Experience with execution of internal and external network penetration tests and mitigation of findings.
  • Experience with a wide variety of network monitoring, diagnostics, and configuration tools.
  • Ability to work with both IT and business to implement business processes and workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
