Position Overview:
The Field Technology Services team is seeking someone with strong technical skills to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and update software, hardware, and networking as necessary to support education, programs, & operations efforts for sites and facilities.
Duties:
Provides technical advice, guidance, and implementation of complex work items involving educational software products. Provides technical support of complex work problems involving computer technology to include workstation and server hardware, software and operating systems, networking hardware, software and infrastructure, and various operating systems software. Responsibilities include independently installing, updating and management of applications and hardware at the assigned facilities.
All candidates must be comfortable going onsite to facilities. This person will be working within the Field Technology team, so they will be required to travel to different sites. Will do our best to allow remote work when possible, but the nature of the work requires an onsite resource.
Required Skills:
5 years of work experience in the computer support field. A combination of desktop, server & network support is required within a fast-paced, delivery oriented agile environment.
5 years of experience is required in these areas:
- Windows operating systems such as Win10, Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Independently installing, updating, and managing networks
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in various operating systems and application software in a LAN / standalone environment.
- Imaging Computers
- Securing Networks and Endpoints
- Building, Deploying, and Maintaining Server
