Responsibilities:

  1. Network Infrastructure Deployment:

    • Design, deploy, and configure InfiniBand and SONiC-based network infrastructure to meet business requirements and performance goals.
    • Install and configure network switches, routers, and other hardware components as part of the network deployment process.
  2. Migration Planning and Execution:

    • Develop migration plans and strategies for transitioning existing network infrastructure to InfiniBand and SONiC-based solutions.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule and execute migration activities with minimal disruption to operations.
  3. Configuration Management:

    • Configure and optimize network settings, protocols, and policies to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
    • Implement network automation and orchestration solutions to streamline configuration management tasks.
  4. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

    • Monitor network performance and health using monitoring tools and dashboards.
    • Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve problems promptly.
  5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

    • Create and maintain documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures for network infrastructure and configurations.
    • Share knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders to promote collaboration and skill development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on InfiniBand and SONiC technologies.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing InfiniBand switches and routers.
  • Experience with SONiC-based network operating systems and switch configurations.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, and Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Wireshark).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
