Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of our wireless network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to integrate and optimize network solutions, staying current with the latest technologies, and maintaining thorough documentation.
The position requires on-call duties and offers a hybrid work from Cracow or Warsaw. Candidates must be able to travel within Poland twice per month and Europe once per month.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to wireless networks for different devices like scanners, printers, phones, and personal computers.
- Ensure the stable and optimal performance of wireless networks.
- Configure and manage wireless access points, controllers, and related network equipment.
- Analyze and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
- Collaborate with network engineers and other stakeholders to integrate wireless networks with existing infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless technologies and solutions, especially for depots, and plant environments.
- Maintain documentation, monitoring, observability, and alerting of wifi network configurations, changes, and incidents.
- Provide training and technical guidance to clients and other team members.
- Conduct regular performance monitoring and reporting of wireless networks.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Wireless technology including Wireless APs, Routers, wifi controllers, and wireless standards (802.11b/g/n/ac/ax).
- Knowledge of RF, LTE, 4/5G, and GSM technology will be a plus.
- Experience with Fortinet and Unifi wireless solutions will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of wireless technologies, protocols, and standards.
- Experience configuring and managing wireless networks in plants, depots, and fulfillment centers.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Proficient in conducting site surveys and performing network troubleshooting for wireless networks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
