Everforth ECS is seeking a Network Engineer - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain telecommunications and enterprise network infrastructure for DoDIN connectivity and secure transport services.
- Conduct capacity planning and configuration management to ensure optimal network performance.
- Coordinate outage response activities to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
- Optimize network performance through strategic planning and execution of performance enhancement measures.
- Ensure compliance with DoDIN operational directives and cybersecurity requirements in all network engineering activities.
- Support modernization initiatives, including SD-WAN deployments and routing protocol optimization.
- Enforce security policies across both classified and unclassified environments.
- Integrate enterprise systems to enhance network automation and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: TS//SCI Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 441-Network Operations Specialist at the Advanced proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT
- Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex multi-site network architectures.
- Expertise in network automation and performance optimization strategies.
- Proven track record in supporting network modernization initiatives.
- Experience with enterprise systems integration in federal and enterprise environments.
