What We're Looking For:
As a Senior Network Engineer at Zebra, you will be a key player in designing, building, and maintaining the robust, scalable, and secure network that powers our global operations. You will move beyond traditional network maintenance, driving automation, enhancing our cloud network infrastructure, and implementing next-generation security protocols. This role is perfect for a proactive and collaborative engineer who wants to make a tangible impact on our company’s performance and growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead the design and implementation of scalable and resilient network solutions across our global enterprise, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud environment.
· Champion network automation initiatives to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve reliability.
· Enhance our network security posture by implementing modern security principles, including Zero Trust concepts and next-generation firewalls.
· Proactively monitor network health and performance, using advanced analytics to conduct capacity planning, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure optimal service delivery.
· Act as a technical lead on critical network projects and serve as a top-tier escalation point for complex network incidents. Mentor junior team members and collaborate effectively with cross-functional IT teams.
· Manage the lifecycle of our network hardware and software, including patches, upgrades, and technology refreshes, ensuring our infrastructure remains current and secure.
