Responsibilities
- Provide network engineering support, including troubleshooting and configuration for network hardware and software
- Perform network monitoring and management to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with network setup, installations, and configurations
- Support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure network infrastructure is properly optimized and running efficiently
- Perform tests and evaluations on existing network systems and identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage network security, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Contribute to ongoing network improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation and knowledge articles
- Participate in incident management and network troubleshooting activities
- Work closely with various teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations and project timelines
- Fluent in English and Slovenian (additional language skills are a plus)
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar hands-on role
- Strong technical skills in networking, including troubleshooting, installation, and setup
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and incident management
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being highly organized
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Attention to detail and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and support colleagues when needed
- Previous experience in regulated IT environments (e.g., GxP) is a plus
- Ability to work onsite in Ljubljana
- All candidates must provide a criminal record check not older than 3 months
